House Montferrand
We chose a place steeped in history for our second coliving project: the former presbytery in Montferrand! In other words, the most unique trendy and authentic colocation in France !
Located in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand’s 2nd historic centre, this second BeeLive house is part of an area brimming with history! The history of the house
The renovation of the future Maison Montferrand is complete!
Discover a unique house! Built between the 15th and 16th centuries, this former presbytery is now a Coliving! To carry out the work, we worked in collaboration with the Architectes des Bâtiments de France.
What’s more, we’ve preserved the original features, such as the large vaults and fireplaces, to preserve its unique charm!
Where is Maison Montferrand located?
First of all, let’s talk about its location. Located in the heart of the historic town of Montferrand, in a quiet street. The house is in a dynamic neighbourhood surrounded by a wide range of shops. Close to the CHU Estaing, you can get there in 10 minutes on foot. The “Montferrand-La fontaine” tram stop is 2 minutes away. In 10 minutes you can be in Place de Jaude, in 4 minutes at the Coopérative de Mai (and enjoy some great concerts!), and in 2 minutes at the Marcel-Michelin stadium, where you can feel the volcanic atmosphere of ASM rugby matches!
Its spaces
This exceptional house has a total surface area of 620 m² (it’s just crazy!) with a huge garden of 300m²! It can accommodate 19 residents!
What’s more, it’s essential for us that each of our Beelivers has privacy and comfort. That’s why every room has a bathroom, a private toilet, a hotel bed (obviously), made-to-measure storage space to make sure you have everything you need, and a desk for (tele)working.
THE best: the gigantic, beautifully decorated communal areas! What’s more, there are a few new features in this new home! To your delight, you’ll find a wine cellar and a cinema! From Harry Potter to L’Auberge Espagnole, from film marathons to wine evenings with your flatmates, this house is sure to please!
Of course, you’ll also find a large, fully-equipped kitchen where you can show off your cooking skills, a large living room where you can catch up on old times, a lovely dining room where you can share a good truffle with your BeeLivers, a laundry room and a large outdoor area with a “guinguette” where you can spend some lovely evenings over a drink!
A real life experience
At Maison Montferrand, you’ll enjoy a unique shared experience! You’ll be able to concentrate on the essentials: your social and professional life. That’s why we offer a range of useful services. Included in the rent, we’ve thought of everything: weekly cleaning of communal areas, broadband internet, digital management, Netflix, monthly brunch or events, etc. All you have to do is put your bags down and enjoy!
Last but not least, we work with a number of local partners to offer you sports, yoga and dance classes, as well as discounts when you go out, to bars, restaurants, the cinema, etc.

The inauguration
On 12 October, just under a year after the opening of our first home, Maison Montferrand was inaugurated!
Today, this second Coliving by BeeLive project sees the light of day and we are delighted to welcome a new community of 19 BeeLivers of all ages and from all walks of life. In fact, 8 different nationalities live together at Maison Montferrand!
The evening was an opportunity for us to thank all the residents for placing their trust in us, and to express our gratitude to all our partners who have worked alongside us to make this project a reality .
Today we manage 2 houses, and in a few months’ time we’ll be managing 3, giving us a total of 42 BeeLivers!
The vision that BeeLive embodies is taking shape day by day! Of course, we still have a long way to go, but after two years of hard work, we’re all the more motivated by what we’ve achieved! It’s a meaningful project, rooted in strong values for our residents, such as conviviality, solidarity and caring.
To immortalise this joyous evening, we worked with Chloé and Margaux, the directors of Eventielles. Together, they set up their company in January 2023 to provide a comprehensive communications package for businesses (communication on social networks and in-house, creation of events and customised products).
For the occasion, they provided us with a photo booth, so we were able to take some great personalised photos especially for the inauguration of the house!
